Suggestions for new shocks
Well my shocks are finally worn out to the point I'm willing to invest in some new ones. I have a stock 96 SR5 t100 (freshly waxed ) and I want to know what you guys think are some nice shocks for a smooth highway ride with very light occasional trail riding. What have you tried and what did you think of them. Links if possible thanks.

Apologies if this is a well covered topic. I just wanted to see if there might be any others here that had a good word to put in for something that hasn't already been covered in previous threads. Either way, being the poor student I am I settled for some KYB gas-a-justs that should do the trick until I have the time and money to sink into a nice lift system. Thanks for the links rworegon.

Update: I ended up installing KYB Gas-a-justs. I ordered from amazon but they had their information messed up and ended up sending me fronts that are intended for 84 yotas. So I ended up getting the rears swapped out and waiting a week until I could get the fronts in and swapped. The passenger side shock I replaced was worn out so bad that it wouldn't even rebound when compressed. Anyways the KYBs for the price are great shocks and make for a stiff yet cushioned ride that really lets you feel the road. Which for me is exactly how I like it. The ride really smoothes out when you load em up. Would recommend them highly for the price.

Just wanted to give an update. DON'T BUY KYB GAS-A-JUST! I went through 3 of these shocks in 2 weeks all of them broke their seals and dumped their oil. Finally warrantied them and ordered some nice Billsteins. Would definitely suggest Billstein over KYB. The ride is much nicer and from the looks of it the KYB shocks that were suggested to me were far to short which could have been the cause, but I checked a number of sites and they all suggested the same model of Gas-A-Just shocks. Overall really dissapointed by KYB after all the great reviews, but for twice the price Billsteins are definitely the way to go.
