Ignition switch wire questions
Hey, so I replaced the ignition switch on my '89 4runner (truck starts now, yay!) but as I was pulling out the old switch and wiring harness I noticed that a few wires on the harness had been spliced. The wire that had been spliced was a Black w/ White stripe. What does this wire do??? I don't know if I want to splice in my B / W wire like the previous owner did or just remove the wiring. Everything on the truck seems to work. I tried to follow the solid back wires that the BW had been spliced into but it goes into the main harness and I couldn't trace it.

turns out it was some sort of ground for my (aftermarket) horn. The horn wouldn't work without those wires spliced in whatever, it works now
