Where to buy Toyota brake pads?
I did the Tundra brake conversion on my 2000 4Runner a couple years ago, and now it's time to change pads. Where is the best place to get genuine Toyota pads for the SW13E calipers? Is there a good website you recommend for Toyota parts?
THANKS!
THANKS!

Search for the dealership American Toyota in Albuquerque, NM.
Ask for parts and then a guy name Cruiser Dan. He's the lead OE Toyota parts guy for Cruiser parts on MUD, offers a substial discount too. Just say you found his name on IH8MUD.
He ships everywhere of course.
Good luck.

If you want amazing braking power, carbotech will custom build you any pad with any of their compounds. The bobcats are amazing. They mostly specialize in racing applications though. Kind of expensive.
tirerack has pads as well, Hawk makes pretty decent pads, especially the HP+ compound.

I would stay away from Hawk HP+, or any other pads used by racers.
cold bite on those pads is not very good ... they are awesome after the pads get heated up. Any pad that is great for racing with have a bad cold bite, not very good for crawling.
Sorry I don't know of any good pads to recommend for ya.
