Toyota Keys.

I've noticed that after only a few months of use... the peice of Keys I had made up at Home Depot are starting to bend pretty bad. I bent it back... but the last thing I need is that snapping off in the door or the ignition.

Any suggestions for better keys? If I could I wana avoid the stealership... I know how much they charge for a regular 'ole key. It doens't have a transponder or anything like that. It's just a simple metal key for a 1985 4Runner. I tried to find something with the TRD logo on it but no luck heh.

Thanks guys.

Wanna give Sears a try?

I was happy with what they gave me when I stayed there for several months. they looked real sturdy.

I got some made at ACE and they are pretty beefy. They look just like my factory truck keys (have the big plastic end) but minus the toyota logo. You can get them all metal too.

pretty much all the keys you get from any of the hardware stores(lowes, home cheapo, sears, ace, smaller hardware stores) are the same, even the machine they use to cut the keys is the same...i noticed my key is a little bent also, but its from the fuel door being all messed up and having to twist really hard...just have another one made...

I know and they suck . They look good, but they are really long and I think they are made out of some really really cheap metal.

I'm gonna have to try a locksmith....
