Griot's Interior Cleaner

Many on here know I dig Griot's products.
www.griotsgarage.com

I use their Best Of Show wax, paint cleaning clay, wax pad for the Porter Cable sander, and a few other products.

I have never used their Interior Cleaner before.

For the past several years I have used a product called Tuff Stuff in a yellow pump spray bottle.
It comes in a can too for doing carpets, but for doing the dash, floor, and your door panels, the pump spray Tuff Stuff is hard to beat.
It leaves no residue or shine, just the natural clean surface like when you bought your rig.

Well, I can not find the pump spray anymore, so I called up Griot's and ordered the Interior Cleaner today.
It too does not leave any crap behind.

Anyone used it before, and if so did you like it?
What other interior cleaners are you using that leave no shine or crap left after cleaning?

I vac'd out the rig a few days ago and cleaned the whole interior (did not need it really since it is brand new) but I wanted to get the dust off the dash that was starting to accumulate already.
Used the Dash Duster first, those rock at picking up dirt and dust.

I need to use the duster at least weekly, and clean the whole interior like I just did at least once a month or more often as I have allergies, and keeping it clean inside reduces my risk of going into a full attack which can be pretty nerving while driving.

He he, to late, order shipped.
Ordered up a new claybar too.

I am going to try and wash the rig this weekend, and if I am in the mood afterwards all the Griot's arsenal is coming out and I will power clay then power wax the rig.

Would like to get some wax on it before I take it off road.
Only 700 more miles to go (300 on it now) 'till my first oil change, then it will be time to hit the trails with it and see what the E locker and A Trac can do.

I have the interior cleaner. IMO, it seems a little too mild to clean heavy dirt and stains. I don't like using it. But then on the other hand, it takes the dye out of the leather steering wheel on my mom's QX4. So be careful where you apply it, I guess.

So far since I placed the original order above for the interior cleaner, I have placed two more in the past week

Got two bottles of their car wash.
http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?&SKU=11102

For several years I have used Meguiar's "pink" car wash gel.
When I washed, clayed, and waxed the rig a few weeks back, the Meguiar's would not hold any suds in the bucket.
I had to put soap and fresh water in the bucket about 6 times or more.
Normal is two buckets of water for me with a dose of car soap for each bucket.

Anyone try their car wash, and if so what is your impression of it?

Also I have mentioned in the past (when I use to take good care of the old Runner) that after I gave it a wash I could use a California Duster on it nightly as long as it did not rain out and two weeks later it would still look like it was just washed.

Been using it nightly on the rig since two Saturday ago.
Problem with the Cali Duster is it has paraffin wax in it to trap dirt, and that wax gets on your window and paint and shows sometimes.

Griot's has a microfiber one.

Yep, you guessed it, it should be here by Friday.

What can I say, I enjoy taking good care of the rig.
People at work ask me if I washed it when I got off work the day before, and said nope, the duster makes it look that way.

I swear though, before to long the rig is gonna get dirty after it gets broken in and has a trip up to Greenwater.

The results from a few weekends ago...

Griot's carwash soap

OK, I got two bottles in the mail last week.
First off I have been washing vehicles since the 70s.
I have never ever used a soap as good as this stuff.

The bottle is 16 oz, and they say to use one ounce per bucket.
The bottle is even marked so you know how much to use.

I found though that using about .75 ounce worked great.
And...the suds did not go flat, even when at the bottom of the bucket.
Took two buckets to wash the rig.

Yeah, I have tried just about every carwash soap on the market, and this is clearly the best IMO.

If you are as fanatical about the small details on your rig like I am, give this stuff a try.
I am sold on it.
