Exhaust/Gas smell
Just bought an 89 TLC, drove it once, when I got back in after a few hours of being parked the smell of gas or maybe exhaust or a mixture of both was overwhelming. Any suggestions?

yep! as in your gettin too much fuel..
like i said i know nothing about land cruiser's
but if its carb'd then it'll be fairly simple just a little adjustment on the carburetor!
if its EFI then..uhm..could be an O2 sensor if ya have any..
could be your mass air flow sensor...or something similar..
something is messed up causing the computer to throw too much fuel at it (if its EFI)
so it could be a sensor..
maybe someone with more knowledge of the Land cruiser's of that era will chime in..lol
where are you from?
