I loved that they were already notched too, I hope to have them on tomorrow or Monday.

nah, I'm gonna have them welded on. I just wanted a bigger contact area with the frame. I will probably cut the top two mounts off the brace like /\ so the welds aren't straight up & down on the frame.

no, I got a friend here that welds for a living in somebody's shop. He welded my frame for me & works on the side for cash. He's real good & doesn't charge me a lot at all. I'm real lucky.

Looking like tomorrow or Tues on the welds, my friend's been catching up at the shop and I've been busy trying to track down a 39.5 bogger for a spare for SE4RJ3, plus trying to get shocks located & installed. I hate seeing these sliders sitting on the garage floor, I want them on my truck!

We actually would have finished had it just been the sliders, but we were also fabbing some shock mounts as well.
Mock-up:
My buddy Nathan, prep grinding the frame for welds.
Cutting off a previous owner's bracket for something.
Mounting Brackets tacked in place...

Thanks Lee, I used my hi-lift to lift one side off the ground as a test. Both tires off the deck, no movement at all. SOLID. I am so happy with them.

Ryker...you are a modding fool.
I just finished my last mod tonight...installed the CB. I'm done. I wish I had some sliders...but oh well...I got plenty of ground clearance so I think I'll be fine...I hope. It ain't like it would make the body ugly if I got a dent.

Thanks Brian, I need one of your slider adaptors now. I hope I get lucky in the raffle at the jambo. If not, then I know what my first WabFab purchase will be.....and I better get a free Wabbit sticker...
See ya Friday morning at SE4RJ3!
