No. And I have yet to see a 2nd gen 2wd. I know the 3 gens have them but I yet to see any of them. The only 2wd with 4wd frame that I have seen is the Taco Pre-Runners.

Well.... there WAS a rather famous 2WD 1st Generation 4Runner.

It wasnt exactly "Toyota" however.

It was Iron Man Stewert's PreRunner 4Runner.

It was a 2WD Ford Ranger (yes twin I beam front) with a 302 v8 and a Ranger frame with a Gen1 4Runner body painted in the red/yellow stripe on a white body.

It went for sale in the mid 1990s and I think its down in Mexico these days.

You could just take the front diff out of a G-1!
Also, I saw a 2WD G-2 on Ebay tonite. :-)

Wow I wonder what the front suspension looks like. I do not see the purpose for a 2wd "4Runner". Also he is asking way to much for it too.

Still don't see the purpose. For the price you paid for yours you could have gotten a 4wd! It looks easy to convert.
