Yeah but I'm not running a 33, I'm running a 31. And the sizes they offer in 33s are absolutely retarded, I'm not going bigger than a 16 inch rim

BFG AT? or General Grabbet at/2? Both make for great all around tires.

I know you already got your tires, but for future readers, The Dunflop Maxx Tractions were the best snow tires I've ever had - next best thing to having chains on. Goodyear Duratracs are even better because Goodyear makes the Dunflops and the Duratracs are an even better quality and more expensive snow tire. I have a few buddies that run Duratracs and love them in the snow and the trails. I'd say they're a 8/10 off road and a 10/10 in snow. The Dunflops I'd give a 4/10 off road and 10/10 in snow. The lugs on the Dunflops were too close and didn't clear out mud worth a crap. I have Bighorns now and they are terrible in the snow IMO, but way better off road (10/10 off road, but only a 3/10 in snow). Last year with the Dunflops, I could make it up my road in 2WD in about 8" of packed snow. This year, I was sliding all over the place in 4WD with my Bighorns on about the same - 8" packed snow. I even had to lock the front and the rear and still sat there spinning all 4 and that was just pathetic. My Bighorns are wearing very fast too IMO. The Bighorns (and virtually any true mud tire) will do fine in deep snow, but they all suck on packed snow or ice. That's where the Duratracs and the Dunflops shine.

I will let you know, I've had the wheels for awhile but I will finally have the tires in my possesion tomorrow (Friday the 14th) and they will be mounted on my rig Saturday morning. I'll give everyone a full review shortly thereafter of on-road characteristics, and then an offroad review when i go out in some good snow. Sorry, but thats the only review you'll probably get because I don't wheel in anything else.

So far, I can tell that the road noise is very minimal and that they do awesome with water on the road. Its been raining heavily the last two days here and there was alot of water on the road last night and I was very happy in that category. The ride is very good too and they balanced out nice. I also love how the wheels make the tires stick out just a hair more, but not too much.

I don't know if I am crazy about those wheels, but the tires definitely look pretty sweet! Keep us updated and let us know how they perform off road.

Nice lookin' MTZ's, my boss at my work has em' and likes them (gone through two sets now)

Believe it or not, I think the best performance you get out of a tire in deep snow is about a 50% tread AT of your choice. Not that you were in the market for used tires, but just something you may encounter someday
