depends on how thick the hurculiner is and if there was carpet on it before and if your going to put the carpet back on. theres alot of other factors to like what tires you have and exhaust.

I removed the sound-deadening material when I herculined my floorboard and although you will notice the difference, I don't think it was that extreme. I personally like it more because you can hear your engine's response better as well as the rest of the vehicle. If it is hot where you live, though, you will definitely feel the difference down by your feet. A/C would help that, wish I had it Like-wise if it's cold, you may want to bundle up more.

alright so most of the sounf deadener is off! if you guys want a way to do it instead of spending money on dry ice, or dont wanna deal with the mess of a whire wheel, what i did was i poured brake fluid on it, let it sit over night, then shipped it off with a hammer and a chisel.

idk it depends on the area, it is still alot of work to do the brake fluid and chip it off, and then you dont get all of it off completely so you have to go back at it with a wire wheel, i just finished herculining mine, im not happy whatsoever... it says its suppose to cover 60 square feet with that gallon and i did the complete inside of my cab and it took 3/4 of the gallon, and it went on ˟˟˟˟ty, and was very very messy, and is a real pain to get off the skin.

Mine has been lined for two years you notice a difference but it's no big deal. But for removing it I used the hammer and chisel with out brake fluid and was able to take it off in strips. Also lined the wall behind the Rear seats

I did the same thing in my 91 4Runner,and it turned out nice. I used the Duplicolor kit, and it went on really nice, and thick. I had no clue how t get the sound deadener off, so I just left it there. Bad move, honestly. Now that part looks like crap. Gonna have to go back and do it again. :/
