questions about a sas??? please help!

im looking at a 5" HD sas kit. but im thinking of doing a 5.0 v8 swap if i did the sas would the toyota axel be able to hold up good or would i have to buy a ford axle? and if i did buy the ford axle would the sas kit work with a ford straight axle or is there another kit for that? i have also thought about the 30 spline longfields but would they fit in a 85 straight axle or would i have to get the dana 60? would the sas kit work for the dana 60 or would i have to peice it together?
someone please help im confused. im new to toyotas and dont know much about them.

5.0 is too much HP

No, SAS kit for a Toyota axle won't work with a Ford axle or the D60. There are kits for 1 ton swaps.

You need to do some searching and a WHOLE lot of reading.

I have seen a 5.0 in a SASd Toyota 4Runner that was well built and all the 5.0 did was blow stuff up...from R&Ps, to axle shafts and a tcase output or two. 5.0 is too much HP for Toyota running gear.

If you want to run a V8, get 1 tons.

thats what i started thinking about doing the v8 swap and putting dana 60 in the front and rear.
i just need to find the kit or something to put in the dana 60's. i want to start looking for a ball park price that everything is going to cost me.

thanks for the post and help by the way
