Home made body lift?

How hard would it be to make some 1'' body spacers for a pu. Im pretty sure id have to replace bolts for longer ones. I just need to lift it an inch. Or would i be better off just buying a whole body lift kit?

I've seen people use hockey pucks before. not sure how well they really hold up though.

I would just get a 1" body lift.

what size 285 are you trying to fit?

Yeah i thought about some of that hard composite like stuff. Jw cause just a 1'' is over 100 dollars.

Either 285 70 or 285 75, im gonna tweek my t bar and lift the rear, to get a little clearence before a do the whole body lift

To lift the Cab & Bed on my 83 I added a body mount set from PROTHANE for a Jeep CJ5 they worked perfect and they do not cost that much. The kit contains 14 bushings and are available in RED or BLACK. For new hardware I went to the local hardware store and got new grade 8 bolts, washers and lock nuts. I am a dealer for Energy Suspension Products & PROTHANE so if your interested send me a "Personal Message". I am leaving for Sierra Trek on Tuesday but will be back to the store on August 16th.

Do the 4Crawler and not only do you eliminate any guess work, but all.. I SAY ALL the little knick knacks that are needed come with...

Do it right... We all know there's enough half assed trucks running around. There doesn't need to be anymore.
