Coolant fitting (part # needed) for 94 22re

hello all,

not new to cars in general, but toyota pickups, yes. i need help finding a name or part number.. i would have searched, but i do not know what the part number is, so i wouldnt even know what to look up!

please see attached, my truck (94 std cab 2wd 22re) would over heat and piss out coolant, once we got underneath it, we could feel the part (circled in red) jiggle around.. once my buddy got to it, he actually ripped it out, since it was barely hanging on by a thread! i hope the intake mani doesnt need to be taken off to clean up the threads =/

if any one has the part number for the U shaped hose, that would be sweet too. ive tried finding the part at rock auto etc and even downloaded an FSM, but all i could find is whats attached... any help? thanks in advance!

oh and just to clear up any confusion, the part i am talking about has a threaded end (like pipe thread), and on the other end its like a barb fitting for the hose, and it is a 90 degree shaped "L" part

Here ya go.

I wouldn't count on the hose being formed. I went to Toyota for an odd shaped formed hose and when it came in, they handed me a plain old piece of hose for about ten times its cost anywhere else. Then I discovered these hose shaping coils like below. Good luck with your project.

great! thank you very much for that part number.

oh and i found the u shaped hose on rockauto.com. goodyear and dayco make one. im not really into 'making' something fit, id rather buy the formed hose. (i get all my parts for pretty much cost anyways )

goodyear part #:63171 ($3.12)
dayco part #:71621 ($5.16)
