Big brake confusion-T100, V6, etc...?

I've been doing some searching on upgrading the front brakes on my '91 since I'll be using it to tow my firewood trailer. I've pulled up a few posts that allude to either T100 calipers and rotors, V6 calipers and rotors, or some combination of the two being a direct swap to an IFS second generation 4 banger pickup. Can someone please clarify which it is? My front brakes are in need of replacing (calipers, flexible lines, and all) so I don't want to go out and buy the whole set of regular parts if I can swap them out for bigger Toyota OEM parts while I'm at it. If someone could give me the correct years/parts to order to do this I'd greatly appreciate it. Also, I came across a post that implied that second generation 4 runner had beefier rear drums/shoes-any truth to that? Otherwise I plan on just replacing the rears and making sure they're well adjusted.

Some are upgrading SFA and others IFS, thus your differences.

IFS you need IFS vented V6 rotors and matching calipers, lots of combos work.

SFA you need LC SFA rotors and V6 calipers with the cooling fins.

Is there a thread on this by any chance that deals only with IFS trucks? I'm interested in whatever the biggest combination there is. Back when I used mess around with turbo Volvos a popular swap was to put calipers and rotors from a 960 Wagon onto a much lighter 740 Turbo Sedan. HUGE improvement in stopping and reduction in brake fade.

Really anything 88-95 V6 will work calipers/rotors.
The biggest difference you will see is MC and dual booster. Not sure if 91 4 banger has dual booster or not.
Someone posted a link to another thread on another forum with all the part numbers the other day.
Shouldn't be too hard to find with some searching.

It's talking about SFA but good talk about MC bores and MPV stuff.

Pirate FAQ has a lot of info too.
