87 Turbo 4runner gearing?
Hey everyone, I was was wondering what gears my stock 87 turbo 4runner has. Ive heard that they have 4.30s but I want to make sure

If its an Auto, its 4.30

If its a stick, its 4.10 (however they never made a Turbo 4Runner with a 5sp, so your 4runner should have an automatic and a 4.30 gear ratio)

anything over 31s with an auto/4:30 set up is terible, not saying you cant but it will be a gutless dog

Yeah thats what I figured. I want to put a 5 speed in it. What transmission fits the 22ret?
