1980 20R head on 1983\84 22R Block?

Hi, new here. Was told there is instructions on here about how to put a 1980 20R head on a 1983\84 22R block. I did a bit of searching yet seems years of conversions can be tricky so I guess I am looking for specific instructions for yr to yr conversion. Can someone please post the link for me? I found on wiki that the piston cylinder size on 1980 20R is 88.4 mm and the 1983\84 22R is 91.9 mm. I bought both trucks with heads off. Last owner wanted to put 1980 head on 1983\84 block then realized it could not be done yet they had no access to net and did not know how to do it. I know about the double row timing chain vs single row chain. Just dont know where to start. Vin plate on 1983\84 truck says 1983 and regi says 1984 yet vin is exact. I know if a truck is made at the end of a year it often comes out on the regi as next production year. So I bought both trucks with engines yet heads both off and parts in cabs. I was told by last owner to put engine back together that was in 1980 truck and just transfer it to 1983 truck. There is 4 speed in 1980 and 5 speed in 1983. I'm hoping engine may just pluunk right over. Both engines are carbbed. Might just be asier to continue on the head switching. So good 4x4 buddy here in town has done it in the past years ago... something about buying a certain head gasket?? I believe engine in 1980, has way less "ridge" on top of cylinder too.
So where do I start? I have an awsome shop so was going to start by pulling engine out of 1980. 1980 has no regi yet frame is really solid compared to 1983. A frame change I can do after I get one running lol.

Search 20R 22R Hybrid on here. Tons of info about it. But unless you have that 20r intake manifold, your out of luck. You need that to build a hybrid.
