the wheel bearing is bad on my fiances 2007 toyota trd sport andi need to know exactly how to fix it and what it will take to get it done. we recently redid our 85 toyotas bearing and im wondering if its gonna be anything like that when we redo it.

Although the bearing bolts to the spindle, the hub is pressed into the bearing. You can remove the bearing assy and take it to a machine shop. It should be relatively cheap.

The Toyota part number you need is 43570-04010 which is for the bearing. You shouldn't need anything else, unless it chewed up the hub.

The hub is pressed into the center of the bearing, so unless the whole assembly has fallen completely apart, I doubt its chewed up the hub. Its a totally different design from your 85. Instead of being a full floating design, they switched to a unit hub bearing setup. Similar to full size Chevy, Dodge, and Fords. Usually you can press out your hub, and just get a brand new bearing. The bearing is pretty cheap too, $154 list. The Dodge unit hub bearing is $400!

Dc why do you always have to go and stir up trouble?

Remember this one not only knows where you live but is close enough to do something about it...
