zuk mod, what spring rate for carrying 500#?
Hello
I did a bunch of searching around, seems that everyone is recommending 125# springs to correct saggy springs ..
I'm planning on carrying a 500# load (my sled) for most of winter... Assuming I should go to slightly higher spring rate to handle the load .. what spring rate would you recommend? or should I stick to 125# springs but look for longer ones ...
As for the heigh, i'll probably look for 14 or 16" springs then cut them to the appropriate length to keep my stance while under load.
Thanks
