Wheelin Pics!! 56k Be warned!
Well me and my buddy (with a heep) decided to try out this offroad park that is closer to us than my normal one. So here are the pics but what we didnt think about, was the fact that it rained for a week in houston before we went there!!!
Lets just say I am done with mud...hahaha, it was everywhere! I should have got a picture of the truck on the trailer!!
Now I had to winch him off this predicament!!! This trip was the first time this heep has ever been put into 4wd and the first time the driver has ever been offroad in anything!! I told him to wait so I could spot him, but he thought he had it!!
Then he backed into a tree and bent his spare tire carrier!!! Hahaha, at least he has (well had) a full size spare on it, and he has a new aftermarket one sitting in his garage!
Then on to the poser pics at the park...lol I couldnt resist showing my buddies what a real truck can do!!! hahaha
And his sad attempt!!! LOL We didnt disconnect his swaybars, or this might have been more impressive for a 4in lifted heep!
Then my favorite pictures of them all!! Putting the heep in its place!!
It was fun though, the guy riding with me had never been off road before, and my bud in the jeep had never driven offroad before, so it was a learning expirenece for them both. They kinda held me back, but I really didnt mind, I took my time teaching them, and they had a blast!!... at least my buddies mall crawler title is banished!!

LOL Thanks guys, I like my truck too, the boggers are fun and frankly they just look mean, and awesome on the muddy trails like in the pics...but they suck on the road, specially when its raining, and with the detroit in the back makes it worse. They are preventing me from driving my truck on the street more often too, because they will wear down to quick!!
But yeah, I am glad I got to pop his cherry...lol, he had fun and is hooked! So we now know of a place thats somewhat close! The only problem is all the 4 wheelers and ATVs, they take over at around noon!
There are some extreme trails around there, at one point we were going to do a water crossing so I got out to walk it. Well after about three feet out I was up to my knees, and there was a huge drop off! It was crazy how much water was held there!! I said some choice words and we turned around!!

Yeah I dont care what you drive...but I do rag on him all the time, you know with his 1/4 ton axles and such!! And how it was a mall crawler!

The sway bars on those Jeeps prevent quite a bit of flex. They make a huge difference when removed/disco'd. He would have been much better off without them, but without quick disco's it would suck.

I just noticed you're from Beaumont. Used to be a bar out there called Cowboys...... man the Texas women..... *sigh*.
Nice pics! Good job on taking someone else out for a first time run, if we can get more folks out ot enjoy this sort of thing then it'll be around for your kids.
I LOVE the pink stripe and I'm glad you haven't gotten rid of it yet. It makes those behind you try harder I'll bet. Don't give you buddy too much crap about driving a Jeep, man it doesn't matter what you wheel just as long as you're out there.
