Whats wrong with ES 9000's?

I just purchased a set of these shocks and have not installed them yet. I have heard a few bad things about these shocks and was wondering if anybody has ran these. My current shock are pretty shot so they must be an improvement

I have ran them for a while and I ordered some superlifts to replace them. They ride really bad imo and they dont hold up very long off road. Mine are already leaking really bad. Just my .02. Hope it helps ya a little

I certainly hope you have better luck with the Superlifts than many people that I have known/talked to.

Bottem line with an product is: you get what you pay for. Bilstein and OME shocks are very good, but they arn't the cheapest thing around.

Heard mixed myself but bought some 15" travel ones for my 82.
They are cheap and I figure I'll get at least a year out of them.

A mistake I've noticed several times with people buying shocks is not buying shocks of the proper lenght.

I got them on my 4Runner but they are stock height and Ipull tires off the ground constantly because of them being too short but when I lift the truck again Im buying these again. They arent THEE best ride quality but I have T-Bars cranked and stiff Eibach springs which dont help. Its nice that they are adjustable though!
