My understanding is that the bumper will bolt right on. The only difference is that you have to use the signal light assembly from the pickups. Apparently, and this is just from the questions I've asked, the 4Runner lights won't fit the openings.
So, that's my 2 cents. I'm looking at adding the bumper next year. Which, I guess, isn't too far off...

from 90-91 the toyota runner and pickup had the exact same front end. After that they got different. Should be a bolt in but you will probibly need turn signals from a pickup. As RobD pointed out.

also does anyone have any pics of one installed on anything?? i just want to see a different angle since its suppose to stick out so far.

There is someone on here who has one.
The Warn picture hides how far it sticks out in front of the truck - it is WAY out there.
I would go with this one instead.

Hate to bump a two month old thread, but what did you decide? I am in the same quandary myself at the moment, I like the looks of the Warn, ARB & the FROR, but the FROR link says product not found; I haven't called them yet to see what's up.
The tube bumpers & stingers are just simply NOT for me lol

it'd be way cheaper to get someone local to just weld one up...spray some paint on there... you can get him to add mounts for lights, fairlead winch, recievers or some rings for towing. plus you get to call it custom and it will suit your specific needs
