Vacuum line?
So the vacuum line that is between the intake and the valve cover, can i cap it off? My understanding is it is to remove gas fumes from the crankcase. My problem us everytime i take off my intake, its got gobs of oil in it from said line. Does anyone know what the consequence of doing away with it is?

I believe your talking about the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) line.
It would be best to run a simple cheap oil-air separator between the valve and the intake.
I have one on my 4Runner and since putting it on my intake has remained carbon free and I drain the oil out of it about once every other month.

Great idea! But don't remove the PCV system--it is important for keeping the engine clean internally and relieving the pressure that builds up from piston ring blow-by.
