Trail Gear Rear Bumper. Help Please.

Can anyone post pictures of how the mounting brackets fit on their 89-95 pickup trail gear rear bumper. The brackets are too narrow to fit around the frame rails and I am lost on how to make it a half inch wider... Just would like to see how they are supposed to fit.
Thanks

Use a prybar to bend it over the side of the frame.
