Suspension problems???
Before I get a chance to ask my questions, I want to say that you guys are amazing on this forum and I always enjoy reading through the forum for fun ideas that I will never do with my truck. I have a 93 toyota pickup with the 22re engine. I had a wonderful time replacing the head gasket a few years back and I read this forum extensively.
My wife has been complaining of the truck riding rougher than it used to. I am not sure whether it might be just her imagination or if there is something wrong or going out in the suspension. The truck has 140K miles on it and is manual. I drove it this morning and I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Are there certain parts of the suspension that need replacing about this time? Like the bushings? Another suspension question, how frequently do the zurts on the suspension need to greased?
What would the symptoms of these problems be?
Thanks for any info.

well, if you have older shocks, you can start there. I needed new shocks, made a difference but still was a little harsh. I did the zuk mod in the rear and bj spacers up front. instead of taking the full 1.5 inch lift in front, you can use some of that to relieve the tension in the torsion bars, making it ride way smoother.
What kind of vehicle does your wife have? Its a 16 year old truck, its never going to ride as smooth as a car or newer suv, but you can get it pretty darn close.
Not sure if the zuk mod will work for a 3rd gen pickup, I kno the 2nd gen 4Runner of similar years have a coil in the rear from the factory. But you should be able to look up something that will work.
