Where's this coolant coming from?

This vehicle is a 1987 22r carb pickup. The coolant is not leaking out of any of the rubber hose connection. It seems to be coming from behind the engine and over the bell housing. It is running down what I think is the EGR pipe and dripping off of it as in the picture when the engine is warm or running. For orientation, you can see the #4 plug in the picture. I can't detect any coolant in the exhaust by smell or sight. No leaks are evident around the exhust manifold.

I don't know what's back there to leak. I can barely get my hand back there.

Any insight would be appreciated.

On that back of the head there is a plate with some water passages behind it. There is a gasket on it. I bet that is where it is comming from. There are 3 or 4 12mm bolts holding it on. I don't know why they didn't just cast the passage into the head. I guess no room.

Hopefully, that was it - the "Cylinder Head Rear Plate Gasket".

The coolant line seems to be fine.
