Soft clutch after replacing clutch bracket and other issues

I just finished replacing the clutch bracket on my 91 4runner 3.0 4x4 and I noticed that the clutch is much softer now than before, also I had to adjust the shaft going into the clutch master cylinder. I also realized that there are 2sensors that are adjustable, one is pressed when the clutch is pushed down, the other is pushed down when the clutch pedal isn't pushed down. Both of these are adjustable and I made note of how many threads were exposed but I wasnt sure if they were in the correct position now. I also noticed that its much harder to shift into first and second gear. I replaced the shifter bushing a year or 2 ago, but I think I did it incorrectly since shortly after I had difficulty shifting into first gear again.
Thanks!

Assumong everything was bled correctly. Get a bottle of fluid , hook a hose to your bleeder into the bottle and open the bleeder. Pump up the clutch and it should back air out of places bleeding sometimes wont get out.

Deathcouger and me did my 88 4x...and i too felt the softer clutch..

after thousands of miles, i am used to it, and i think the one i removed (which was ok) just had tighter springs..as i replaced it w/an OEM type...

he had some recomendations about our pedal brackets can crack and break, but thats not the case yet in mine...

so, it should be either air, the pedal brace, or just softer springs in the clutch...
hope that helps
happy trails
