Seafoam>Where and how to add to our trucks
I did a few searches and could not find what im looking for...
Basically i want to run seafoam through my system.
I heard about different places you can put it through.
What is the best place to have it put in from and how much do i use.
thanks

...or how long it takes the fire department to show.
anyhow, I did seafoam on my 91 through one of the vacuum lines on the throttle body and it smoked bad.
then I did my 88 with spray MAF cleaner- took the duct of the throttle and sprayed about 1/4 of the can up through the throttle, let it set about 10 minutes, sprayed another 1/4 can up and buttoned it up and started it. smoke is an understatement. looked more like a WWII smoke screen being layed out. then I did it again and not so much smoke. and the truck has quite a bit more torque now than before, not as much downshifting.
so either way, you should see a benefit.

I ran it but the engine did not stall..i ran exactly 1/3 of the bottle.
Should i let it stall out? if so...im sure i will be using more than 1.3 of the pint
also could i run half the bottle in the crank.. another pint in the gas tank and do half through the brake booster?..is that too much seafoam?

Some people have reported hydrolocking the motor from pouring in too much. I reccomend using more than a third of a can, and doing multiple treatments.
I also find my truck smokes more as I am pouring it in the brake booster line then after I let it sit for a while.

It was here, dont remember when or who but I definetly remember it. The guy stuck the hose right in the bottle I believe. And people mention not to pour too fast into the booster hose for the same reason.

I did mine in the PCV hose, twice. Half a can, stalled it. Waited 15, started her up, smoked like nuts. When she was done smoking I did it again, the other half can. This time I dumped alot in when I stalled it, and let it sit for atleast 20 minutes. Smoke was an understatement. Took me like 10 cranks to start her but by the time I did I couldnt see where I was driving, it was rediculous. Worked like a charm though.
