Replacing crank seal?
hey guys, was just wondering how hard/easy it is to replace the crank seal on a 3vze, and also possibly the cam seal? also how expensive, after my engine swap, the newer engine is leaking oil, not too fast but enough to see it on the axle etc, i cant excatly tell where its coming from, but i figure its possible that the seals have dried and cracked, the parts truck i bought sat for a while. thx for replies.

Replacing the seals is quite easy, getting to them is not so easy
With basic mechanical skills it's probably a 1-2 day job with hand tools at home. Here's a write-up that covers timing belt replacement, and seals

Run a search on main seal and cam seal. The procedure has been discussed a lot, already.
It's not hard or expensive, though. You just have to remove a lot of stuff to get to them, and the seals and RTV are cheap enough.
Something like pulling a tranny or engine is hard, in my book.
