REBUILT ENGINE 22re HIGH COMPRESSION

my truck is a 1992 pickup 4x4 22re. i have just rebuilt the motor with a decked, port and polished the head and 268C cam. the compression is at 200 +/-5 psi at each cylinder.

i was wondering if i should change my ignition setup or anything for that matter for the high compression?

what would u guys recomend for plug (brand and gap), wires and coil setup also timimg??

any advice or suggestion would be great to have this motor run at peak performance

thanks

stock plugs are fine. do some nice wires and coil if you like.

You dont need a step colder plug if thats what you ar thinking.
Not like you put a blower on or something.

Seems fine to me. I'm indifferent to the cold air intake though but to each their own.

How's it run?

well i dont know how often you get up around red line but in my celica i need a msd or something simalar ignition system because i increased my revlimiter to where i dont have one, and the stock ignitions from what i heard only go to like 6000 or so and i can go 7000 plus. the jacobs ignition company has some really nice stuff and there not all that expensive but it looks expensive becuase your buying the whole ignition like msd box, coil, and wiring and i think plug wires also. and multi spark discharge would probobally help your plow truck out alot. i also need one just for the fact it has a revlimiter so i dont blow up my engine past 7500 rpm
