Going back to your original post, no one gave you your odds!

I would say 40% your frame is bent, 60% your frame is REALLY bent

Good odds?

My frame just survived a massive collision and after all the checking I have done, it's straight. My rear springs, shackles and hangers were all bent, so that's where the majority of the force went. Besides measuring, I would take your bed off again and use a good long straight edge and see if everything lines up even and flush.

The second-gen trucks have the bestest frames...can't kill 'em!

Given that the bed is bent to hell, I don't think we can make an accurate determination.

The only bent part of the bed is the front part that meets the cab.I think the guys at the yard dropped it because it was perfect when I bought it.Then they delivered it and it was bent.I'm going to pull the bed off and straighten that part out.Either way I'll take it to a shop and have it checked out.I will update.

If I bought something one way, and it was delivered all bent to hell like that, I would go back and RAISE some hell. Thats unacceptable!

The bend is whats causing the gap, its a pretty significant bend!
