Hey, dude, nobody is saying your info is bad. It's your grammar, learn to properly use punctuation.

Welcome to 2012, where misspelled words ARE frowned upon.

I was excited in thinking Im going to find an answer to my problem.

I bought the new VSS1 sensor, installed it, it still doesnt work.. so maybe its electrical...

if I buy another sensor that should confirm that if the 3rd one doesnt work, it has to do with some electrical wire cut?

If the part was "brand new" I doubt it is bad. And since VSS1's go for $175 or so, buying a 3d one doesn't sound like the best path.

"How" do you know it doesn't work? No speedo/odo/cruise at all? Did you check for transmission codes (O/D light flashing)?

The sensor test procedure given by 94runner285kandgoing is correct (though pretty hard to follow). More importantly, since your new sensor is probably not the problem, you can check for 12v and ground on the appropriate terminals on the cluster-side of the VSS1 connector. That will tell you if you have a wiring problem.

Good luck!

Thank you so much scope, my 4runner is at a electrical shop right now and the poor guy is going nuts.

So much so that he says he wants to give up on my ride ( )

But I understand he has a lot of other work to do to play around with my truck (everybody else is paying him big bucks)

I did however, tell the electrician I was servicing all of this mostly myself.. but since he has all the cool tools, I did a lot more research than he has done.. for example that picture is awesome, he could test that out and see if its electrical...

now I am in deep doodooo, now I am up like $150 bucks on getting the VSS1 working, and its not... also paying him to connect the ac... ugg

Exactly! it does all that, even with new speed sensor... so maybe its electrical, also he told me that when he hooked it up to the computer, it just kept blinking?
