Losing power

Losing power
What's up y'all! I have a 95 4runner 3.0 manual 4x4 and recently I been noticing when I'm doing my normal driving up hills on the road, I been losing power and been having to keep down shifting and still losing powers. My buddy said it could've been spark plugs so I changed them out. They were pretty bad and it did help a bit, but its happening a bit. I think it could be the fuel pump might be going out or the injectors might be dirty. Any advice?

There are a few things you can try. One is fuel addatives. Another is taking your throttle body off and give it a good cleaning with carb cleaner and a tooth brush. Worked for me... P.s. The stp injector cleaner will mess your spark plugs up if you use it in mass quantities

Ok yesterday I replaced my distributor cap and wires with a borg warner cap and omni spark 5mms. I also switched oils im running straight 30 penzoil and a k&n oil filter. Extreme difference in power. I mean it chirps the tires on take off and its an automatic. Try that and see. 4qts sae30 penzoil-distributor cap-1qt lucas-omnispark wires-k&n filter.... 100 bucks
