This past weekend I got the 4" drop bracket kit mostly installed. The 35" tires seem to be have the right proportions. I am over my limit for posting pictures and the jpegs my camera is producing is over the 48kb limit. This is the only image I could find that was small enough to work.

Secondly how can I reduce the memory size of the photos my camera is taking?
sounds like its time for n8 to make a photobucket.com account. the will fix both or your issues in one sure swoop.

BlazeRunner w/ combo lift

I figured out how to compress the size of a photo today! Here is a couple of shots with the 4" Bracket kit and the Blazeland Long Arms. Go to "BlazeN8's 1986 4Runner Build-Up Thread" to see more on this build.

I have only driven around the block a few times and thru the H.S. parking lot. Went over a few speed bumps and thru a concrete ravine to flex the suspension a bit. It rides just like any other Blazeland rig (aswome) only its taller. When I get the rear level with the front I'll get it aligned and get some more testing done in the dirt. The 3" rear blocks should be here mid week. I know blocks??? Hey the front is on stilts with the drop brackets so blocks in the rear won't be much different. Eventually I plan on installing the 6" lift, "long travel" rear leaf springs from All-Pro. These springs require some cutting, welding, fabrication so until I am sure I can deal with the high rider stance of the rig I don't want to do anything permanent. Also the Superlift 3" block kit is $75, the All-Pro springs are around $500.

Cassidy,

I think your onto something with modifying the 7.5 front and mounting it in the center. I've seen more photos of this than you posted here on Yotatech and we spoke on the phone about it so I know more than the Yotatech readers. If you find a solution that works please do post a write up. If it ends up being a dead end tell us why! I have another minion working on narrowing a rear 8" with a centermount. I also like the Supra 8" as an option. I think the 8" R&P is a better route as it is stronger and has more gear and locker options.

As far as the Combo Kit on my 4 Runner I got the 3" blocks installed and the Runner is sitting just about level now. I am going to try and get it aligned today if an alignment tech is working today. I have a Lifetime Alignment contract at Firestone tires. I think I came out on top on that one!

lifetime alignment!!! heck yea!

ahhh i see, all i seen was a differential in the middle lmfao

what CV's are you using?

i think the supra 8" rear would still be the best route possible..stronger, easier than doing the "narrowing the rear" thing blaze is talkin about...hahaha

and the guys with the 8" supra front diff overseas are doing like >400hp 4wheel burnouts! (i believe it's >400hp...might not be...but a 4wheel burnout none the less!!!!!)

On the plus side, this rig is going to push the limits and find those week links. You can't take it to the next level without putting it out there!
still holding together. As soon as i lower my gas tank back to stock location body lift is byby.

Oh yeaah -
You have to get the Firestone Lifetime !!!
I get this on every car I own.
Raise it - lower it - change to winter tires - jump it at the dunes and bend the frame ... Firestone will fix it every time !

So... From what I see here - it looks like you took the long extension half-shafts and put one on each side of the front Diff ?

I definitely think the mid-mounted 8" Supra diff up front is the way to go.
I have had / built a few Supras... I'm trying to find ways to get more 7mgte parts in my 4runner !

I used two short side stub shafts.

Def following this! I have the 3" body 4'' superlift on 37" Iroks right now and really close to ordering the blazeland, just wondering what the options are for the cv axles if Im keeping the stock 7.5" fornow. Could I still get away with T-100 axles or will I have to custom build some as well?

I found this. It's a bit old, and the pics didn't all show up for me, but it is relevant. We might need an Aussie to translate a bit of the local nomenclature, though!

Yeah it seems the supra diff is quite known over there. Im just wondering if I can still get away with t-100 axles? My plan is to just throw some gears in the 7.5 and rebuild it for now and see how long it lasts then by time it breaks Ill have a nice drawn out plan how to get the supra diff in there. Im mostly goin this route because when I put the blazeland on the front I'll also be 3-linking the rear with the kit from TG so I'll have to budget for that too.
