I hear alot about people getting the bj spacers and lo-pro bump stops for more travel. How much can you take off the bumpstops without damaging the steering components?

I'd be more worried about the axles than the steering component. Follow 4crawlers instructions on checking for cv binding.

Okay. So the skyjacker shocks I got can either be run with or without the giant rubber boots, I prefer the look without them, but does it realy make a big difference from a performance/damage/keep out standpoint to not have them? I work on bikes for a living and back in the day the shocks had to have boots over the piston/stanchion because crap would get in past the seal or scratch the stanchion which would then damage the seal, but nowadays theyve improved the seals so that no boot's neccesary... same for car shocks or not?

And yet another question: When tightening the nut on the lower shackle pin, the nut just keeps turning and turning and the bushigns get all squsihed up. The same nut on the other side of the truck torqued down just fine, but on this side the torque wrench wont click at all. Both sides have anti seize on the threads, but the side I'm having trouble with is a brand new shackle and the side thats OK is the old shackle being reused. Please Help!!
