my other truck besides my yota is an 7.3 powerstroke and i haul trailers with it very frequently and differnt trailers everything from an 6 foot utility trailer to an 38foot goosneak enclosed trailer. i understand the advantages of bags but you would have to have an trailer custom made to pull behind that truck, so when your buddy needs an hand to get his stock trailer home when has some trouble on the side of the road or you need another trailer for another application your SOL. let alone the fact they probably have the inside of the bed choped to hell so when you have to load up that ton of gravel for your driveway its just going to spill out allover the road besides heavens forbid you might scratch the paint.

Sometimes I think that people just dont like them because they are for the most part just built to show off. Kinda like when that blacked out AMG Mercades on 20s with factory plates passes you on the freeway like your standing still, and you think 'what a douche'. haha

That actually happens to me on an almost daily basis... IDK to blame that on the 3vze or the douche driving the MB. I think those are actually nice setups though. I enjoy the european imports that are tuned up like that more than the ricers.

YAY! lol. The first one looks like he might be hitting body but its mostly frame.
The smart ones (if you can justify dragging smart in any way) add drag blocks on their trucks, they are blocks of steel i think? that are sacrificial to dragging, they run em down and then bolt on new ones.

Yeah, I've seen those on some muscle cars, you think they'd cause ridiculous drag. I think some people tried to market them to skateboards for a while too lol.

Well they drop the back end using bags to touch them to the ground when they want to show off. They arent draggin all the time. Most of the trucks are below legal limit at full ride heith though so a major subject of conversation is tickets and cops lol.
I gotta get up early so I'm off to bed. Later guys.

oh memories
I remember my lowrider days, back when I owned my 88 Isuzu Pickup 2wd
removed a leaf from the rear pack, and threw on 2" drop blocks; yeah, the rear rode on the bump stops, lol. then just relaxed the t-bars as far as they would go, threw on some 17" bling, and a fiberglass topper with blacked-out windows, tweed interior... man I was freek'n big pimp'n at 16 years old, lol

haha, man I raised that truck back up off the bump stops after a couple years, built a new 175hp (+-10hp) 4cyl for it:
rolled around with and smoked Honda's and Mitsubishi's all day, then threw a rod through the block and got rid of it... for a frigg'n Jeep... hahaha, I ran that 4.0l into the ground; 2 axles, a transmission, a complete re-wire, and then I finally seized the motor

Jesus. I've been beating the nutts off a 47 jeep and can't kill it. We have a 56 Flathead V8 we want to put in it and it's lasting like my neighbors 22R. It's frustrating lol.

i had an 89 Isuzu pickup before it was one of the biggest pieces of i ever owned, had less than 100,000 miles on it but went threw 2 head gaskets in the time i owned it burned an quart of oil every 200 miles. overheated on me probably 10 times. and shot an spark plug out of the head one time, then i let my brother borrow it and he ran it out of oil and locked it up.

check this thread out... got a couple different ideas, from drop spindles to drop blocks...
you could always if you felt like it just do a body drop as well

mine did me pretty good; I had to rebuild the motor the first time right when I got it, cause the previous owner THOUGHT he had mechnical knowledge lol, it was all screwed up...
but Calmini use to, and I'm pretty sure they still do, offer a good choice on aftermarket parts for the 2.3 carbed, not so sure about the 2.6 FI though...
it was a fun little truck
