Make it a "fighting chair" and add a bracket for the rod holders and you've got a sweet surf fishing rig... you just need to screw in a couple of rings one set to hold down the fish cooler and one for the beer cooler...

*awestruck*

That's a great idea!

I could also make it on a plate that could be removed, that way I could throw a spare tire through the swivel pole. The seat would keep it from coming off or being stolen.

I'm thinking toolbox with a lining in to to make it double as a cooler.

Swivel seat and my Armalite AR-50 on a swivel stand!

On a side note, anyone know about pinion angles? Just finished slapping in the tranny tcase and rear 3rd. Measured from flange to flange and got: FT-RT 47 13/16th inches, and FB-RB 48 7/16th inches. Anyone know if that's do-able with a single cardian driveshafts?

Honestly I don't think not having a load will dramatically effect the pinion angle. Same reason you can put 1000lbs in the back of your truck and drive just fine.

Um next time you have a can of black paint in your hands, and you're spraying something that close to the frame...............

Thus the ultimate reason for the flatbed. Previously, the hood was the golden stage for that glorious stag. Now all can behold my triumph at slaughtering the trophy buck with the mighty boomstick held aloft through yonder window. Alas, there is nothing on life so magnificent as a bloody carcass ratchet-strapped across the flatbed for all to see. And what's more, you hitherto may see two cervidae dually adoring this vehicle, mine. One laying supine upon the flatbed, as well as one affixed to the hood. Such extravagance surely has never before been seen.

I miss that wooden flatbed... And it's eerie reading about the seats on the flatbed idea, then how I rolled it with people on the back. Deja vu.
