I had to pop three of The bolts on the side shaft side of the diff off to get it past them...used a 5 lb sledge and a few good wacks with my 1/5 in. Extensions. Good luck
dude...you're my new SAVIOR. those damn bolts..had to use a regular hammer and a crowbar but got them off! then that darn CV slipped right over the diff lip. i appreciate your reply earlier! i was starting to get a stroke from frustration haha. I assumed those bolts were mated with the flange and I'm sure glad you said you could pop them out. THANKS AGAIN!

No worries brotha, glad I could help.
Last night I was starrting to think that my suspention might be bent or something cuz I juust COULD NOT get it out. I got so mad I ended up grinding my old cv in half just to pull it out haha before I drank a beer and started at it again with a clear head. Didn't realize the ball joint needed to be loosened until in was doin install but whatev, I was gonna replace it all anyways, and I work in my garage with VERY limited tools

haha that's the ONLY way to do it! beer and a minimal tool selection, always gets the job done. besides, we need a CHALLENGE!
