a good while back, I had a few changes
ginormus tach on the dash
brushed aluminum shift nobs and boots over the bellows
even had black lights on the roof and floor board, lmao
brushed aluminum gauge bezel
the tach on the dash progressed to an entire gauge pod on the pillar
then I threw in a new head unit, a 1000 wat amp under the passenger sie of the seat, a 2 farad capacitor, and a 10" sub
then I sawpped in some SR5 goodies like a lighted glove box, lighted ash tray, and lighted 12v outlet
I even went as far as throwing in some dash speaker boxes from an SR5, but I have yet to put speakers in them
BUT, I have since removed all the "flash". The black lights were the first to go, then the shift knobs and I put the stock onces back on, the got rid of the insane gauge setup in favor of an SR5 setup
The only main custom thing that stands out now is the stereo, which I will NOT get rid of, cause I'm a major music fanatic

Nice interior work. I'm liking the SR5 guage cluster.
Was it tough to do? I saw one sitting in the junkyard the other day and thought about buying it but was unsure of the hook-up...
Did you have to do anything for the tac on the SR5 cluster?
Only sh**y thing about your interior is the big hole in the top of the dash from removing the old tac.

I have a tach mounted on the side of the gauge cluster, and a three gauge pod on the a pillar. The gauges aren't hooked up yet, but they are in there. I will snap some pictures later.
I am getting a stereo installed on Wednesday. I want Corbeau seats, a cage and custom interior paneling in the back.

i put in a center console because lets face it, gen 1 4runners are lacking in cup holders. lockable storage is nice too... except it came from a jeep store.
prep for the console and bed liner
the console... and the alcohol with mcdonalds cups
tool storage
front storage- ipod, power converter, etc
closed
the rear of the console has since been trimmed- the rear cupholders were removed. with them gone the seats fold flat as they should.

All I've got so far is a switch for the rear window installed next to the farthest rear dome light. I don't have any pictures. There is a video demonstration in post #6 of the following thread link.
