Heck, if that's the case as soon as I can pick up an engine and tranny for less than 2k I'll be calling you!

Hydro-lock

well.... Here's my guess.

If you can't turn the crank with all the plugs out and the vehicle in neutral... then one of the pistons is jamming in the cylinder because you either bent the rod... or the tweaked the piston sideways (due to water being only on one side of it... ie due to gravity and the angle of the cylinders) that it is now jammed into the cylinder wall... that would be my guess anyway. If I was doing this... here would be my options:

1: Find a motor on craigslist (I bought mine for $300 complete... but needed rebuild) and rebuild it and swap em.
2: Try to rebuild your motor. You might get lucky in that since you were just using the starter it might not have had sufficient strength to do a lot of damage and all you need to do is buy a few new parts and you're done. Else, you could take it to a machine shop to re-sleeve the motor and make sure nothings cracked, etc.

Personally I'd go for 1... as there's too many "if's" with you motor.

Hope this helps

Yeah that's why I wanted to know where he was. I have a good 3VZE but I don't want to build a shipping crate for it.

That is what took my first 22re from me, hydro-locked and cracked a connecting rod. The motor lasted for about a month after it was running again.
