Ruining it is a matter of opinion.. I think putting all that crap on them to run into swamps and crawl over rocks is dumb, but most here seem to enjoy it.. To each his own

Sorry, I meant movin truck, as in a 24' box truck (like uhaul truck)...

And to me, ruining my runner would be dropping it, puttin it on rims, and all that crap... But hey, thats just me.

lol i get it, sounds like fun. but sounds like a great idea with your runner. i like the idea of a truck with a bit more room behind the seats, the xtra cab is nice but still isnt alot of room, sounds like your going to give yourself plenty of room back there which is awesome

Actually, that was one of the biggest perks I had in mind over just swappin a p/u cab on there. I'd love to be able to put a huge ol sub box, and a couple other things behind the front seats, and still be able to fold down the rear of the cab. Make for some sweet fishin in the middle of the lake once I snorkel it

i LOVE the snorkel/exhaust stacks idea. it would be PERFECT for a turbo set up.

I vote for bobing the rear and fitting up the rear of a 89+ pickup bed.
put your roll bar back on and if you need a top walmart makes an awesome custom blue tarp softtop!!!
check out my friends on his choptop bronco II

Whoa... Mud, you just gave me a crazy idea. A double bob job. Bob the runner into what I plan now, THEN pick up a p/u's bed, and bob that too! It'd be like ford's sportrac, but in toyota flavor!

And yeah I really do love the snorkel/stacks idea. The only thing I haven't worked out about that is how to route the airtube down and back that far. Cause routing it out the front quarter panel would be pie, but down and back that far.... Thats gonna push my redneck-riggin skills to the max!

Just do PVC (and seal it really well) and run it just under the door... Otherwise, you would probably have to go through the cab......

The cab might be a better idea since its less prone to damage....
