A/C compressor hose mount
Im in the process of installing factory A/C into my 90 Toyota Pickup - 22re. I have been able to get all parts except the compressor and bracket.
I got hold of two compressor: 10pa17c and 10p15c. 10pa17c seems to be ideal for my truck as the connector is compatible. The problem is that I do not know how to connect the two hoses to the compressor: Discharge Hose and Suction Hose.
Here is the 10pa17c compressor:
I think the hoses should connect to the two outlets (near the bolts) that have been snipped.
So, am I missing the part to connect the hoses.
The other compressor: 10p15c (85 and earlier models) has two outlets in which one of the hose connects perfectly while the other is a mismatch. I was hoping that the 10pa17c would have similar outlets like this:
Also, I learnt that there is another compressor for my generation truck: 10pa15c. Dunno difference between 10pa15c and 10pa17c. I believe 10pa17c has a larger piston/capacity so is better suited for 4runner.
Since I do not have access to a 22re truck with a/c installed, I need your pictures and how this is setup.
Thanks.
