+72,000,000 (should be enough to counter the 4% popular vote majority obama received, right?)

and...
/off topic of sorts... has obama produced that vault copy of his birth certificate (not the certificate of live birth, which anyone that lived in Hawaii can get)... you know, the one that shows he was born in Hawaii (not Kenya)?
That's all he has to do you know... right?
Members of the electoral college are asking to see it ... so ... where is it?
It's raising enough questions... and its existance and disclosure is the only thing that will keep him legally eligible for being president.

me too.... that doesn't mean I can't demonstrate though.
I hope he can turn around this fiasco with the stock market and financial 'bail-outs' which have happened after it became apparent the republicans would lose the presidency... so I guess we'll see.

Questioning someone's ability to be President isn't perfectly acceptable, but I don't think factors out of their control should detract from their eligibility.

He couldn't help it where he was born, so why does it matter were he was born? In my opinion, stuff that you didn't decide should be out of bounds for any job. This includes race, gender, sexual orientation*.

Regarding Obama Girl... you know you wouldn't say no.

*If it were a choice, why would anyone choose to be homosexual if in today's society?

I suppose if we don't question each other's character or have any extreme political views, why not. I don't think less of anyone who voted Republican if they have a good reason- I would think far less of a Democrat who cannot explain their reasoning, than a Republican who can.

I couldn't stand Palin...

Not really foolish. If someone pays all their bills right away then the credit company doesn't make any money because there won't be any interest. Why would they want to lend you money if their not going to make anything off it.

Sorry to tell you bro, but if you couldn't get a Walmart card, your probably sol by yourself. That is one of the easiest cards to get. You'll probably have to buy something on credit with a cosigner before you'll be able to get credit by yourself for anything.

Yeah...everyone wants a credit history before you get credit. Its like getting your first job...they want your work history!

Anyway, I'm sure I could buy a new vehicle if I wanted too. I would just have to have a huge down payment.

I can't even get a paypal credit card either!

Have you tried getting a card at Discount tire? The store, not online. When I was 19 I think I got approved for like $1500 there. I got an $1100 set of rims and tires for my car and could take 6 months interest free to pay for them. If I would have had to pay all up front or had to pay interest I most likely wouldn't have bought them. But then again I have had credit since I was 16. My mom cosigned for me to get a student credit card with a $300 limit. I just put gas on it and paid if off every month until I was 18 or so. I hate having to go inside to pay for gas.

PS that was 2002 when I bought my rims, so with the economy being so crappy and people defaulting on their bills a lot could have changed.

Rob

i bank with a credit union i got my first credit card threw them. i did not start trying to build any credit till i was 20. After i got my credit card from my bank and made a couple payments the credit card offers started showing up like crazy i ended up getting a second one threw capital one. they are both good about reporting to the credit agency especially capital one. also paying it off in full every month is not a bad thing as long as you use it every month, if you never use the card it is a bad thing because it doesn't show payment history. also using more than like 60 percent of your available credit is a bad thing as well. say you have a credit card with a $500 limit and you owe 400 thats a bad thing but if you have the same 500 limit and you have a balance of 100 that's a good thing.

High usage (such as balances above 50% of the credit limit) is usually considered negative because lenders worry that you may be using more credit than you can reasonably afford to repay. In fact, as little as 15% usage may lower your score if you have no serious negatives (such as late payments) in your report. Being "maxed out" or overlimit on a credit card (when your balance is close to or above the credit limit) is particularly bad for your credit scores. The more accounts in this situation, the more it affects your scores. On the other hand, low usage is usually considered positive because it provides lenders with information on how you use credit. It also shows that you do not need to use all of the credit available to you. However, not using your credit accounts may be considered a negative factor, because it does not provide lenders with information about how you typically use credit and repay your debts.

Jason, "realistically" someone who makes the effort to walk into Tim Hortons to order his coffee should get better and faster service than some lazy fu#* going through the drive-through,, but life aint like that.
Have the payment money on hand but but always leave a little owing,, CC companys love it when they can squeeze your nuts.
As for a Wal-mart card,, what would the interest be on that sucker,, like 35%?
