Am I bein too overly worried?
I am still goin through woes with my engine (22r) and I want to check this out before I am going any further. When I pulled my rocker assy from the head two of the bolts were covered in the milkshake that I have been dealing with. (Far back passenger side and exact middle passenger side) Are there oil passages in those holes or are they blown out? I ask because I have sunk too much money into this dang thing and I dont want to burn through another head gasket and another oil change.

Yes some are, I forget which ones, but one and that is the front left side I believe (I don't have access to my 22R-E head right now) if you look in the holes where head bolt goes through you see a tiny hole a little ways down and have been told on another thread that use factory style head shank bolts and not ARP studs because there bigger around and restrict oil flow through those holes. But that's just an opinion, I went with engnbldr head bolts...

yup some of those head bolts go through oil passages, no worries. Perfectly normal. ALot of them actually get stuck and you have to remove the rocker assembly with the bolt because it so gunked up in carbon build up they won't fit through the holes.
