87 4runner spark plug issue

Hello;
This is my first yota so...its a 87 4runner I got cheap to use to move with. It has the 22rec with an auto. It was running finr, but as with any new toy, I put new plugs and wires on it. i gapped them to 32 as specified, it runs worse with the new stuff than it did with the old. Now, unless its fully up to temp it stumbles, and doesnt have the pickup as before. Its runs smooth and all that, just strange. Any thoughts?
Thanks

Quaity plugs matter! Also make sure the wires are seated correctly and all the vacuum lines are firm and leak free.

I get my cap,rotor,and plugs from the dealer, not much more then the part stores charge. The Denso wires I get off of ebay and they are far better quality then parts stores top brand for a cheaper price. For spark plugs just use Denso or NGK.
