Ok now I know why you picked your screen name.
Because you bug.
First of all, everyone here has been pretty helpful, genrerous with the info, etc... everything you need is in this thread. You could have found all of it by searching but we were patient and answered your Q's. Plus why clutter up the board with a new thread for every side topic. But since you think we all have the time and inclination to follow you around this site. I have a suggestion- there is another site, with better info and people will be happy to help with these types of questions and scavenger hunts. It's called Pirate4x4.com. Be sure to register and feel free to post these exact questions in the tech forum, don't worry about the FAQ or newbie forum since you already know how to use a forum. If anyone asks, don't tell them I sent you!

SoCalwheeler is dead on - everything he needs to figure out his gears is in this thread. Starting another thread dedicated to the topic was not neccessary. There is not much more we could do for him, other than physically showing up at his house and figuring out what gears he has by doing the wheel trick or taking out for a drive and writing down various RPM's at various speeds in various gears. It's not too difficult.
