I like that dizzy tip. Last time I used that one was on an old subaru loyale. Super easy and quick. And as far as sensor checks, I still think the easiest next step before you go chasing electrical would be to confirm that T-belt. Leave the injector check alone for now, I've done quite a few injector diagnostics and they are time cosnuming and can be pretty expensive to get them done properly.
If the motors turning pretty quick it could be a sign of a broken belt too. If the rotor turns i'd go after those timing marks, it's the most accurate for timing checks. And just to clear things up this isn't ignition timing it's valve timing.
