22re Coolant hoses? - 1st gen 4runner

Thanks a lot for all your feedback, folks! I'll check with NAPA and www.toyotapartsdeal.com where I had bought OEM parts from.
Stanz,
I notice that you also have the fuel pressure gage piggybacked on CSI. I'm very happy with that mod, although I would like to replace that with electrical sender to a display on the dash... someday.

Radiator Flush Kit
Thanks a lot for the feedback above, guys!
Got another question:
It's time to flush my cooling system. I noticed that previous owner installed a fitting on hose "A" in picture. I assume this was for the Tee fitting in the Prestone Flush and Fill kit
a garden hose would be connected here to back flush the radiator. According to Prestone "The Flush Tee should be installed in the heater inlet hose, which generally runs from the firewall to the top of the engine". However, the hose "A" with the cut which could be used for the Tee-fitting runs from firewall to a pipe low on the block.
Did the P.O connect the tee-fitting to the wrong hose?
Is it still OK to flush with a garden hose, engine OFF but heater in max heat using the "A" hose?
Would this back flush?
TIA

Bypass hose
I know this is an old thread, but I never found an answer online so I’m posting what I found.
My 4Runner has a 90 degree outlet near the thermostat so the Gates hose 18222 doesn’t work like the later ones. Autozone has a Dayco hose 86810 that worked. It flexes enough without kinking.

This is actually one of the more recent 22RE Coolant threads so I think you updated the correct thread.

Hey guys, coming in from downtown to reply to/revive this thread. I'm installing my throttle body coolant bypass valves due to them being removed by previous owners. I have them ordered but I am unsure as to where they attach to.
1986 22RE using the LC throttle body. If any of you fine folks have some tips as to where the upper and lower coolant hoses attach on the other end, I'd be very grateful.
