1st gen truck seats in 2nd gen truck question
Ok I have a nice set of SR5 bucket seats that came out of a 1st gen truck. I went to put these seats in my 2nd gen truck and nothing lines up. After measuring I found out the 2nd gen seats are actually wider. Even if I were to swap the 2nd gen brackets on the 1st gen seats, it still would not work since the width does not change. What do I do? Should I create new bolt holes?

I put civic seats in a nissan pickup, and grand am seats in a scout II and I had to re-drill and fab for both vehicles. If they are nice seats and you can do it, then I say go for it. Good luck!

New holes need to be drilled obviously. You need to make some plates for the bolts to go through so they dont rip out your seats/floorboard (especially if you have an accident)
