Trouble removing rear brake line
Well, I got the project done without having to remove it - but I may be installing extended brake lines soon, and I need to know how to get this done.
I was taking out my rear 3rd member and needed to pull the axles out. I was easily able to get the driver's side brake line disconnected from the rear brake... but the passenger side was a totally different story.
First off, my 10mm open ended wrench looked like it would round it off. I have since read that I may need a "flare wrench".. is that right?
Then, I got really confused when I started to turn the nut on the line because it looks like it wasn't actually going anywhere, but still rotated the brake line. I stopped turning it, and tried turning the smaller nut that threaded into the larger one, and no luck there as well.
Does anyone have any tips for me??

Yeah a flare wrench is what you need, dont get the cheap ones either or you minus well just use a plain open ended wrench
And i dont get what your saying about the brake line coming off

Ok.. when I would turn nut #1, it would turn inside the larger nut (#2). Nut #2 would turn and also turn #1, but would not loosen up - or at least didn't seem to loosen up.

Now I have another question - and I don't really feel like starting a new thread for it.... This is no longer connected since I did my e-locker retrofit. I am talking about the connection with the red marks obviously. Is this my ABS connection?
Secondly, I read that if my truck has ABS (or had it before I disconnected it), I do not have an LSPV.. Is this true, cuz I'm pretty sure I've got an LSPV on the left side of my panhard rod.. It's the brake line in the foreground, correct?

Guessing you already figured that you hold nut 2 while turning nut 1 CC.
The LSPV is the big doolamajig at the right hand side of the screen. The long bar from the left side probably goes down to a bracket on your axle.
The part you have tied up was the speed sensor for the ABS.

One thing that helps with those little buggers is to take a pencil torch and get them a little warm. It helps break up the rust and gunk in there. Flare wrenches help a lot but I've had plenty of success just heating them up. Also hitting them with PB blaster every other day for a couple weeks before tear down helps if you have the time.

My brake line and fuel fittings have seized to the steel lines in some areas so when you attempt to loosen the fitting you can see the line twisting as you turn the fitting. In the case of fuel lines you can't, well should not, use heat, so I am going to replace the line and fittings. If you see the lines twisting be prepared to replace them if they break.

Yeah, I don't know what you got going on with your rear brake line, because I redid all my brake lines and none of them looked like that. You are way better off just taking the bigger nut off and replacing that line. Should give you better look as well.

The hard line looks bents coming out of #1, thus #1 will not spin freely on the line when loose.
Try the get the line coming perdendicular from the end of #1 by slightly bending it, then hold #2 and twist out #1. I got a special pair of channel lock pliers for brake line fittings.
Perssonally, I would remove and replace all of it cause they are probably OE.
