weber carb 1 piece adapter help

So I've bolted on my weber carb, everything fits good except for my throttle linkage. Being that I used a one piece adapter plate that is a lot thicker than what came with the weber (thinner 2 piece) the throttle linkage is not lining up with my carb now....what do I do?

Look for places along the mounting area of the throttle cable where you can adjust it up.
You might need to make a small extension bracket. Why use a taller plate?

I dont excactly know why its so think... That's the one everyone recommend me to get. From summit racing. Maybe I can figure out how to rig a spacer up.

Basically that's it. The kit to install it on a 22r should come with spacers for the throttle linkage too. If the carb spacer is taller, you need to move the linkage up pretty much the height of the spacer. Probably need new longer bolts, too.
